pour whiskey on the rocks, put on some Emeralds vinyl, curl up in a ball on the couch with cat until both the whiskey and the record are done.

In the backyard the sad dog dies, his eyes pointed upward as if saying “I would rather not live alone. Bury me with the ones I love.” But no one knows what a dog’s eyes say so the grass eats him and the cold dirt keeps him and the warm wind sweeps his decay and dust towards the sea.
Can't seem to find the right
The small trickle of blood from the left hand’s second knuckle, uncompromising in its color, drips drops down to the speckled brown carpet. I feel lightheaded, the insides of me swish around in themselves. My stomach is unsettled, uncomfortable. Dark red hands as the postman sings softly to himself “Baby I miss you today.” My seat back is rigid and I am constantly yawning....
